Mommies in the Workforce

Have you ever met a mom that works a job? I’m sure your probably saying, “yes duhh” because most moms do! Believe it or not in the midst of our pandemic, in 2020, 79.7% of mothers worked a full time job, and I’m proud to say that I am in that number (BLS, 2021). I’ve been a working mom from start to present, and I’ve been exposed to different work environments, employers, and systems. I’ve come to learn that there is nothingggggggg and no job that compares to the job of a MOM.

Here is Number 2.

Currently, my rock is my 5 year old and the newborn is my hard place. Nobody prepared me for what life with a new baby is REALLY like, not even the child I already have. Give Imry a sibling they said! Well, why did nobody say this was going to be this hard? I went into this thinking I’ve done well with one baby so I know just what to do the next time around. My real life experience now is telling me that THAT was a load of crap

The Beautiful Pain Of Natural Birth: Is It really worth it?

I knew that I wanted to have a natural birth since the moment I found out I was pregnant. So as any normal person would I started asking everyone about their natural birthing experience (That is normal right?). I had a bunch of people telling me it was an amazing experience and then some simply saying good luck. Nobody really gave it to me like it was.
